Geometry PR is working hard to promote the South West Model Engineering, Model Making & Hobbies Exhibition 2010, the UK’s most interactive model making show.
This year’s event, which takes place on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th April at The Royal Bath & West Show Ground, Shepton Mallet, will be bursting at the seams with over 200 exhibitors and clubs, demonstrations and the best from the world of model making.
With lots on offer, including boats and hovercraft, outdoor flying displays, model engineering, railway layouts, children’s outdoor amusements, military displays, car racing, and wargaming, there really is something for everyone.
The 2010 event will be opened by Pete Waterman OBE. Pete, who is best known for his involvement in Stock Aitken Waterman, having scored more than 100 UK top 40 hits and sold more than 40 million records, is a keen railway and model enthusiast and has published books on the subject.
Speaking about the event, Linda Donaldson of Geometry PR said; “As an agency we have gained extensive experience of promoting, as well as organising events. The Business North West and Business Yorkshire events, which took place last autumn, were very successful and our management of the media and suggestions for activity at the shows helped to make them so.
“Consumer and business events continue to prove popular. We are developing a great reputation as an agency which can work alongside event organisers to make their events a success.”
