Supporting local community initiatives is important to Geometry.
We are proud to support the Bath Rugby Community Foundation (BRCF). The Foundation was established in November 2003 with the aim of helping young people in and around the Bath area. Over 50,000 children have been involved in projects which cover education, sport, social issues, female rugby and disability sports. We also sponsor bath Rugby back row Peter Short.
In 2007, Geometry sponsored one of the King Bladud Pigs pig on behalf of the Foundation and with the help of local artist Elizabeth Knott “The Bath Rugby pig” was created. The pig provided the Foundation with a platform to raise its profile locally and, with the help of Geometry, the official “Bath Rugby pig tour” was launched. This saw Foundation members, accompanied by the pig, visit schools and businesses in the Bath area to spread the message about the work of the Foundation and the King Bladud’s pigs project. Geometry PR created replica pin badges and, along with the auction of the pig, have raised in excess of £3000 for The Two Tunnels project.
Geometry PR also gets involved in promotion of public relations to students interested in a career in PR. Managing Director Linda Donaldson regularly gives presentations at schools and colleges in the Bristol and Bath areas and the agency offers work placement to exceptional students.
We are also keen supporters of the local business community. Geometry PR is a member of GWE Business West, a leading economic development organisation and the ‘voice of business’ in the South West.
